[EN] The city development of Valencia, after its walls were demolished, starts in 1884 with the Enlargement Project by the architects José Calvo Tomás, Luis Ferreres Soler and Joaquín MªArnau Miramón. These three architects were members with number of Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Carlos and they left important buildings on the new streets created according to alignments designed in the project. A significant work of architecture, later increased with another brilliant contributions, as those of Carlos Carbonell, Jose Mª Manuel Cortina, Francisco Mora or Javier Goerlich, which forms a new urban landscape of cosmopolitan stamp with main two Grandes Vías.
